Reports have claimed that Chelsea defender Ethan Ampadu could now be sold by the club this summer.
According to the Evening Standard, the Blues man could be on the move as part of the club’s aim to balance the books this summer.
Ampadu spent last season on loan, which is a fate that has met him for a number of seasons now.

He now has top flight experience in England, Germany and Italy, experiencing the different brands of football those countries have to offer.
However, this has been at the expense of growing at Stamford Bridge, when it had looked like he was going to be doing so.
The 2018/19 season looked to be the breakout campaign for the Welshman. However, that was the last time he even started a game for them.
Ampadu set to leave
He was a particular favourite of Maurizio Sarri, who brought a European trophy to Stamford Bridge in his only season in West London.
Many will believe that Ampadu is certainly a player that the Blues can get something out of next season.
One of those is undoubtedly Rob Page, the manager of Wales. He has previously described him as ‘versatile’, and he is a regular for the national team.

However, it looks as if he is going to be part of a summer clear out at Stamford Bridge, with the club knowing they need to sell in order to spend again.
The need for players to come in is clear after a 12th placed finish last season, and there is a desire to back the new manager who has joined the club.
Mauricio Pochettino will certainly have players that he wants to bring in this summer, and the club will need to support him if he is to bring the Blues back to the top.
