Chelsea winger Pedro could be on the verge of a surprise move to Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe. The 32-year-old has found opportunities hard to come by under Frank Lampard this season and could move on before the deadline on Friday.
Goal has reported that the J1 League side is interested in the services of the former Barcelona man. The likes of Andres Iniesta and David Villa have both played for the club previously at late points in their career.

Pedro is the fourth or even fifth choice winger at Stamford Bridge and has made just 12 appearances for the Blues this season. In those games, he has scored one goal and provided two assists. He played 90 minutes in Saturday’s 2-1 win against Hull but struggled to make an impact.
It could be the perfect time for the Spaniard to move on before things become bitter at Chelsea. Mundo Deportivo have previously reported that former club Barcelona could make a move for Pedro to replace the injured Luis Suarez. However, nothing more has come of that move as of yet.
Our view – It is time for Chelsea to let Pedro go

The Spaniard has been an important player for the Blues over the years, but it is time for him to move on. Youthful talent like Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic not only offer more currently but will develop into even better players with more opportunities.
Pedro, on the other hand, is heading into the twilight of his career. A move to the Japanese league could be one final challenge before the end of his illustrious career.
