Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is someone that leading agents reportedly expect to continue in her role at least until the end of the summer.

According to The Telegraph, “leading agents” anticipate that Granovskaia will remain in charge of Chelsea’s transfer business during the upcoming transfer window.

It is explained that all three of the remaining bidders to buy Chelsea want to keep the 47-year-old club director at Stamford Bridge, albeit it’s unclear on if she’ll stay when the new ownership completes a takeover.

The report expects she will at least be part of a busy summer for the Blues, who’ve got contract issues that need resolving once sanctions are lifted.

For certain, Granovskaia’s been an important figure at the Bridge and a close advisor to Roman Abramovich.

It’s going to be intriguing to see if the club chief elects to stay during a new era at the West London club.

Immediate Chelsea focus

Hopefully, a takeover is finalised soon. The club desperately needs to get back to some normality by being granted permission to work on transfers, player contracts etc.

It’s going to be a big help if a settled face in Granovskaia is around to oversee things.

Antonio Rudiger, who’s out of contract this summer, is the obvious problem staring Chelsea in the face.

The Blues defender reportedly wants to speak to the next owners before deciding his future, but he’s scheduled to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires this summer.
