Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall is attracting a lot of transfer interest across the Premier League, especially from clubs in London.

That is according to a report from The Athletic.

They claim that Lewis Hall, 18, has a lot of admirers after making a breakthrough into Chelsea’s first team towards the end of last season.

It is understood that plenty of Premier League sides, particularly from London, rate the Blues academy graduate.

The report explains that Chelsea is in a strong position right now regarding Hall’s future and is focused on aiding his upward trajectory.

Hall is currently in the United States with Chelsea’s main group for their pre-season tour, which should give him an opportunity to impress new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

The versatile teenager, who can play as a left-back or central midfielder, looked the part last season when stepping into a Blues line-up that was hugely underperforming.

The Athletic previously claimed that former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was seriously impressed by Hall’s technique.

Like most Chelsea fans, we really like what we’ve seen from Hall in his opening 12 first-team appearances for the club.

The left-footed Englishman certainly didn’t look out of place at senior level, so it would be a shame for him to spend the majority of next season in the Blues Under-21s team.

If Pochettino doesn’t picture Hall starting too many games in the upcoming season, we would definitely be in favour of a Premier League loan. It sounds like there would be plenty of quality suitors, too!
