Tino Anjorin may reportedly be the next player to exit Chelsea this summer – and some Blues fans on Twitter are baffled by the speculation.
Football London reports that Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow have entered talks with Chelsea to try sign their youngster.
He’s a highly rated 19-year-old attacking midfielder that’s come through the Blues academy system, but he may end up leaving before the summer window shuts.
The report claims that discussions are ongoing over the teenager’s future. Also, it’s unclear right now on whether any transfer would be a loan or permanent one.
Anjorin, who’s made five first-team appearances for Chelsea, has been around the senior squad during Thomas Tuchel’s time as manager.
Unfortunately, the creative attacker has an impossible task of trying to break into the side.
Mason Mount and Kai Havertz seem to be in pole position for two playmaker roles behind forward Romelu Lukaku. However, the likes of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic will be desperate to get into the best XI.
Chelsea fans don’t like Anjorin to Lokomotiv Moscow rumours
A selection of Blues supporters on social media dislike the speculation linking Anjorin to Moscow.
First of all, he’s a special young talent that already looks physically strong enough and fits into the Chelsea squad well.
Secondly, there is a major concern that Football London’s report doesn’t specify if a deal will be permanent or loan. It would be wrong to get rid of someone with his talent on a permanent basis.
Finally, some believe a loan move to Russia makes little sense. They would prefer to see him develop in either Germany or England.
