Tammy Abraham completed his transfer exit away from Stamford Bridge on Tuesday – and some Roma fans on Twitter are buzzing with the news they’ve signed him from Chelsea.
Abraham has today made a permanent switch to Italian club Roma, who have given him the No9 shirt.
The 23-year-old is taking on the challenge of his first club overseas and will be hoping he can make an instant impact in Serie A.
He’s a product of the Blues academy that leaves with a Champions League winners medal. In addition, he scored 30 goals in 82 first-team appearances for the club.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel couldn’t find a spot for Abraham in his best XI, so he spent time under him last season struggling for minutes.
It looks like he’s now getting a chance to try be a key man in Rome for a giant club.

Tammy Abraham signing has gone down extremely well at Roma
A selection of Roma supporters on social media believe their new signing is going to be a hit.
The English striker has shown he can be a clinical finisher around the box. For example, he had some superb loan spells as a youngster at the likes of Aston Villa and Bristol City.
He’s still a developing talent that will get to work under Roma boss Jose Mourinho.
Abraham will rise to the occasion of replacing focal point Edin Dzeko at the Italian side.
