Chelsea may be presented with the chance to sign Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe in January.
Emile Smith Rowe was linked with a move to Chelsea during the summer, and a report from 90min has now claimed that the 23-year-old would consider leaving his current club in the next transfer window if his situation does not improve.
He has only played two Premier League games for Arsenal this season and is yet to start in the top flight.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea made an approach for Smith Rowe when the market was open but were quickly rebuffed by their London rivals.
In the end, the Blues signed Cole Palmer from Manchester City to strengthen their attack.
Emile Smith Rowe could leave Arsenal in January
With Smith Rowe not playing right now, you probably cannot rule out the Englishman departing the Emirates in January.
However, it would be a surprise if they sold him to Chelsea. They clearly rate him, hence their decision to reject the Blues’ initial approach.
A loan to another club, then, probably seems more likely for the England international, who has been hailed as a “special talent” by Jamie Carragher.

Having signed Palmer, we do not think that Mauricio Pochettino is actually in desperate need of Smith Rowe.
What the Argentine requires right now is a deadly No.9 and it will be interesting to see if he can acquire one in January.
If not, then Pochettino will have to continue to rely on Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja, which is unlikely to be enough to get his side back into the Champions League.
