Chelsea are reportedly interested in a move for PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke, who’s a player that’s been compared to Arjen Robben in the past.
Madueke, 20, is a London-born winger that’s developing extremely well in the Netherlands.
The left-winger has had this current season badly interrupted through injury, but the youngster’s got 19 goals in 78 first-team appearances for PSV to date.
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea are currently in “advanced talks” to sign Madueke this month.
Graham Potter’s Blues side are linked with a number of exciting forward players in January, but will a deal for the Eredivisie star be one they get over the line?

Madueke compared to Robben
Fred Rutten, who’s currently PSV’s assistant coach, made an interesting comparison between Madueke and Robben.
“What is beautiful and special with this player is how he can accelerate when dribbling,” Rutten told Algemeen Dagblad in 2021.
““If you’re looking for something that Madueke has in common with Arjen Robben at that age, it’s definitely that. There are many players who are very quick over the first few metres. But only a few can go through the gears with the ball at his feet. That’s a gift.”
If you’re going to be compared to a winger from the past couple of decades, Robben is about as good as it gets.
The retired wide player was sensational during a trophy-laden spell as a Chelsea player. He went on to become even better in Bayern Munich colours, too.
His explosive pace and turn of direction is what defenders hate, which makes Madueke a really exciting target for the Blues right now.
