Bayern Munich attacker Robert Lewandowski has publicly admitted he wants to join Barcelona, despite being linked with a move to Chelsea.
Lewandowski, 33, has gone on record to express his desire to exit the Allianz Arena this summer.
The centre-forward has confirmed recently that he wants to leave Munich after scoring a ridiculous 344 goals in 373 appearances for German giants Bayern.
It’s been reported Chelsea have had a long-term interest in trying to sign Lewandowski. The Poland international’s latest comments are a major blow to that idea, though.

Lewandowski wants to join Barcelona
Bayern’s number nine has made it clear that a move to Spain to join La Liga giants Barcelona is what he’d prefer to do this summer.
However, he’s still under contract with the Bavarians for one more year on his contract.
“No other offers were even considered by me other than that of Barcelona. I want to leave Bayern, that’s clear,” Lewandowski said.
He’s fresh off the back of 50 goals in 45 appearances for Bayern this season, so allowing to exit would rip a major hole in their squad. But keeping someone that’s made it crystal clear they want out the exit doors would be a risky strategy.

Chelsea pulling power
Do the Blues have the kind of attraction to bring the biggest players in Europe to Stamford Bridge?
For starter, a world-class manager in Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a massive tick. There’s the regular knack of the club winning trophies during the past couple of decades, too.
Chelsea’s restrictions enabled rivals to get a head-start on them heading into the summer window, but it’s going to be interesting to see how the transfer pursuits unfold now.
