Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa may be really open to joining Chelsea this summer.
That is according to journalists Simon Phillips and Rob Pratley.
With Edouard Mendy leaving the club this summer, all eyes are on Chelsea to see if they go out and sign a new first-team goalkeeper in this window.
Blues shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga may have a free run at the No 1 position right now at Stamford Bridge, but there is still plenty of time for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to bring in some extra competition in-between the sticks.

Journalists Phillips and Pratley have reported on Substack that Chelsea are now looking at Porto’s Diogo Costa as a “priority target” for the keeper position.
It is understood that the 23-year-old gloveman is “very open” to coming to the Premier League, which includes the idea of joining Chelsea.
Apparently, Porto are open to selling the Portugal international, whose wages are not high. Salary Sport claims he’s on just £24,000-a-week.
As it stands, the Portuguese club is still asking for interested buyers to cough up the player’s asking price worth around £60-65million.
Chelsea are believed to have registered their interest in Costa and talks are underway over a potential deal.

90min reported earlier this year that Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are all considering Costa, whose release clause is worth £65million.
We’ve already seen Tottenham go and sign a shot-stopper in this summer window, so does that leave the door further ajar for Chelsea when it comes to Costa?
The Porto star ticks so many boxes as a modern goalkeeper with his quality on the ball and great athleticism, which is why we’re glad to hear Chelsea in talks to get him.
