Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich are now likely to pursue Chelsea target Dusan Vlahovic if they cannot sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
That is according to the Daily Mail.
So, what is the latest on Dusan Vlahovic and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well – according to Fabrizio Romano – one senior figure at Chelsea really likes the Serbia international, and talks are ongoing with Juventus regarding a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.
Juventus – however – want a bit of money as well, due to the fact they believe Vlahovic is more valuable than the Belgian.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea recently offered £17m and Lukaku, although Juventus asked for £26m and the 30-year-old.
Now – however – Bayern Munich could gatecrash negotiations, as Tottenham continue to make Tuchel’s pursuit of Kane very difficult indeed.

Spurs have rejected a number of bids from the German giants, most recently ignoring an offer worth £86m.
Tottenham seemingly have no intention of letting Kane move to the Allianz Arena, so Tuchel may soon decide to abandon the pursuit and move onto Vlahovic.
Chelsea must be quick on Vlahovic as Bayern Munich lurk
In our view, Chelsea need to speed up negotiations with Juventus over Vlahovic, as we believe it won’t be long until Bayern Munich give up on Kane.
As things stand, the situation between Chelsea and Juventus seems quite calm – the Italian giants want rid of Vlahovic and the Blues want Lukaku to go as well, so there is common ground between both sides.

As aforesaid, Juventus want £26m for the £215,000-a-week Serbian as well as Lukaku, which is only £9m more than Chelsea initially bid, so it feels like an agreement can’t be far off.
However – despite the feeling of calm – Bayern Munich could change the scene pretty quickly if they get involved in the bidding, so there is a reason for Chelsea to act with urgency.
