Manchester United have not reached an agreement on personal terms with reported Chelsea transfer target Jadon Sancho, according to reports from Germany.
The Sun reported on Wednesday Manchester United have agreed on almost every detail of the 20-year-old’s transfer following months of secret talks with Borussia Dortmund.
They claim “Sancho’s contract, his salary, bonuses and a huge buyout clause have been sorted out over months of secret talks”.
However, Ruhr Nachrichten has put questions marks over the Sun’s claims and said nothing has been negotiated or even agreed between Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Jadon Sancho.
Sky Germany also supported this claim saying, “According to Sky information, this is not the case. There is no agreement with Manchester United.”
These would be greeted with enthusiasts by the Chelsea fans who want to see Sancho at the club next season.
Having recorded 14 goals and 15 assists in just 23 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, the former Manchester City player has attracted interests from a number of top clubs.
However, as the football hiatus hits clubs’ financial power, it’s questionable whether clubs including Chelsea would be able to pay an estimated €120million Borussia Dortmund are reportedly demanding for their winger.
