Chelsea’s chances of beating Thomas Tuchel to Dusan Vlahovic have been boosted as there is a disagreement over the striker at Bayern Munich.

An update from Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany reveals that the German is convinced by the Serbia international.

However, it appears Thomas Tuchel isn’t on the same page as his employers regarding Dusan Vlahovic in what is good news for Chelsea.

What’s the story?

Well, Plettenburg states that Tuchel is convinced by the Juventus No.9 and believes he’s exactly what Bayern Munich need in attack.

However, those in the boardroom at the Allianz Arena are not as sold on Vlahovic, and they also believe he’s too expensive.

Plettenburg does not mention how much Juventus want for the Serbian, although a story from Tutto Juve claims that the Serie A side are demanding £91m for the man they paid £66.6m for in January 2022.

The update comes after Italian football agent Massimo Brambati claimed that Chelsea will make an offer for Vlahovic this summer as Mauricio Pochettino aims to bring a quality No.9 to Stamford Bridge.

A story from ESPN adds that the 23-year-old himself wants to join Chelsea.

Bayern Munich issues do not give Chelsea a clear run at Vlahovic

While Bayern Munich do not sound interested in signing Vlahovic for Tuchel, there is another side Chelsea must be wary of in this transfer battle – Manchester United.

A story from Football Transfers states that Erik ten Hag wants to sign the Belgrad-born striker this summer, and the Red Devils are preparing a £61m bid for his signature.

Vlahovic is attracting interest from the Premier League after scoring 14 goals in 42 appearances for Juventus this season across all competitions.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the Serbian is likely to head to the Premier League as Tuchel’s bosses at Bayern Munich find themselves unconvinced.
