West Ham are looking across London at Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah as a potential transfer target.

Trevoh Chalobah, 24, has been a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge recently because injury has kept him unavailable for the first half of this season.

The Blues defender has been a popular name in the transfer rumour mill recently, though.

TalkSPORT has claimed this week that West Ham are tracking Chelsea’s Chalobah.

It is explained that the Hammers interest in the 24-year-old centre-back is likely to be impacted by what happens with Nayef Aguerd, the West Ham defender attracting interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.

The report added that Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich are rivals suitors interested in signing Chalobah.

Also, Chelsea are willing to cash-in on the player.

West Ham tracking Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah has been frequently linked with a potential move away from Stamford Bridge recently. In our view, David Moyes’ West Ham side could be the perfect fit for him to continue his career as a solid Premier League performer.

TEAMtalk claimed last week that Chelsea could allow Chalobah to leave the club for around £25million. They added that there’s interest in the versatile English defender from Bayern, Tottenham, Roma, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

Speaking via BBC’s Match of the Day last year, Shaun Wright-Phillips praised Chalobah as “superb” after a Premier League performance.

Once everyone’s fit, Chelsea do have a lot of top-quality defenders in the squad. It looks like Chalobah would be quite far down the pecking order in that scenario, so moving him on could suit all parties in 2024.

If sold, the Blues academy graduate would bring in pure profit for the club on the balance sheet. He’s good enough to play in this current Chelsea side, but our guess is his time is up in West London.
