West Ham have reportedly joined Tottenham in the race to sign Hakim Ziyech, who is determined to leave Chelsea this summer after becoming an outcast under Graham Potter.

According to Jeunes Footeux, the Irons will rival Daniel Levy to sign the Moroccan international, who is ready to depart west London after a mixed career with Chelsea having joined the club in 2020 from Ajax for a reported £33m.

With just one assist in all competitions this season, Ziyech is set to become one of many Chelsea stars ready to leave the club this summer, with the winger only managing 844 minutes in total, starting just six Premier League matches in the process.

However, interest is already there for the 30-year-old, with Tottenham being long-term admirers of the attacker as West Ham have now joined the north London side in their pursuit for Ziyech, who could be keen on remaining in the Premier League and the English capital.

Indeed, with Chelsea ready to sell Ziyech and the player himself desperate to leave Stamford Bridge, interest from two London clubs is welcome news for the attacker, with a move to Tottenham the most likely option for the Dutch-born winger given West Ham’s current Premier League status.

Tottenham’s need for more attacking and creative depth is evident to see, and in Ziyech, Levy could have the perfect signing already in his sights if Spurs can beat West Ham to the Chelsea outcast’s signature, a procedure which could be easy to pull off.

As we know, Tottenham are in a driving seat for top-four despite their chaos on and off the pitch under former manager Antonio Conte, and with the Irons down in the relegation zone, the north London side could be perfectly-suited to land the Moroccan international.
