West Ham United are keen on signing former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer, though landing him will not be easy.
West Ham are struggling to sign Kante so far, seeing an initial bid for him rejected by Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.
However, the 33-year-old is not the only former Chelsea player who the Hammers appear to be interested in.
As for Chelsea themselves, they have had their own struggles in this transfer window.
While the Blues have been busy, bringing in the likes of Renato Veiga, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tosin Adarabioyo, they are yet to sign a first-team striker for Enzo Maresca.

West Ham interested in signing AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori
Fikayo Tomori left Chelsea permanently back in 2022, joining AC Milan after an initial loan spell there.
Two years later, and it looks like he could be heading back to the Premier League if West Ham get their way.
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham are weighing up a move for Tomori as Julen Lopetegui tries to bolster his defence.
Tomori has been a key player for Milan since arriving at the San Siro. Last season, he made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Italian giants.
Chelsea should consider re-signing Fikayo Tomori
First of all, it should be mentioned that Chelsea probably do not need to sign another centre-back this summer.
They have already signed Tosin Adarabioyo, who joins a squad that already possessed Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah.
However, Chelsea have contacted Nottingham Forest to sign Murillo, who is not going to be cheap. According to one report from The Guardian, Forest value the 22-year-old at £70m.
If Murillo is going to cost that much, then Chelsea should be looking at potentially cheaper alternatives, such as Tomori.
But again, Chelsea are not in a position where they desperately need another centre-back at Stamford Bridge.
