Talk that Yan Diomande has agreed to join Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool has been denied by a source close to him, while they have also revealed what the player is actually thinking about right now.
It has been reported that both Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in Diomande, who has made a huge impact at RB Leipzig this season.

Yan Diomande and Liverpool agreement denied by source close to player’s camp
Diomande has registered 12 goal contributions in 22 Bundesliga appearances this term, and it looks like that has not gone unnoticed.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea, Liverpool and some of Europe’s other top clubs have been watching the young winger.
However, a source close to his camp has told the publication that there is no agreement in place with Liverpool.
Instead, the same source says Diomande is only thinking about helping Leipzig to finish in the top four and the World Cup in the summer, with the 19-year-old set to play for the Ivory Coast.
It is good news for Chelsea, who already missed out on Jeremy Jacquet to Liverpool. Chelsea are going to have to pay a lot of money if they want to sign Diomande, though.

It just makes sense…
Journalist Christian Falk recently told CF Bayern Insider that Leipzig are demanding £87m for the Ivorian.

Yan Diomande terrorises Borussia Dortmund
Leipzig failed to beat Borussia Dortmund last time out, drawing 2-2 with Niko Kovac’s side, but Diomande still produced a very fine performance.
He assisted one of Leipzig’s goals and also created two big chances, as per Sofascore. The Ivory Coast international also managed to make nine progressive carries and complete three out of four dribbles.
Simply put, Dortmund could not contain Diomande. After such a display, it is no surprise that the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool want him.
This summer, Diomande will certainly be one name to look out for, though a transfer may not happen until Ivory Coast’s participation at the World Cup is over.
