There could be at least one big exit at Chelsea during this transfer window, with Ben Chilwell’s future looking far from certain right now.
Marc Cucurella finished last season as Chelsea‘s first-choice left-back, while Ben Chilwell is now being linked with a move away from west London.
Manchester United have looked at Chilwell, so Old Trafford could be a possible destination for him this summer.
As well as Cucurella, new signing Renato Veiga and Levi Colwill can also play at left-back, meaning there could be room to allow Chilwell to leave before the transfer window closes.
He has had a lot of injuries in recent years, but that does not look to be Chelsea’s main concern right now.

Chelsea have Ben Chilwell doubts
Enzo Maresca is the new Chelsea manager, with the 44-year-old coming in to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
It means a new idea and style of football at Stamford Bridge, which could be good news for Chelsea supporters if he can get it right.
His arrival, though, does not look to have been a positive development for Chilwell.
According to The Athletic, there are doubts as to whether the 27-year-old actually suits Maresca’s style of play.
As a result, the same outlet claims that Chilwell could now be sold if the right offer comes in.
Ben Chilwell at a disadvantage
It is quite easy to see Maresca preferring Cucurella over Chilwell. The former, of course, has experience playing as an inverted full-back, something that Maresca has already used during Chelsea’s pre-season, albeit with Reece James on the right.
With Veiga being able to play as both a midfielder and left-back, it is a role that the 21-year-old should also be capable of fulfilling.
However, Veiga isn’t sure if he’s in Chelsea’s plans for this season, with a loan move possible despite the former Basel man just joining the club.
Whatever the case, it appears that Chilwell, whom Chelsea signed from Leicester for £50m four years ago, is in a bit of trouble right now.
