Chelsea target Moises Caicedo is “furious” with Brighton & Hove Albion after their attempts to prevent him from moving to Stamford Bridge.
That is according to one report from FootballTransfers.
It claims that Brighton do not want to sell Moises Caicedo to Chelsea and the whole saga has now left the midfielder feeling furious.
It is clear that the Seagulls have found it easier to do business with Liverpool, who are also keen on Caicedo.

As per BBC Sport, the Reds had agreed a £111m deal with Brighton to sign Caicedo this summer. However, it looks like his heart is set on joining Chelsea.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Ecuadorian has informed Liverpool that he only wants to sign for Chelsea.
Why has Moises Caicedo made Chelsea his preferred destination?
It is not quite clear yet. Perhaps it is the London factor, or maybe the Blues are offering him more money.
Whatever the case, this is certainly a positive development for Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino, who are probably dreaming of a midfielder like Caicedo right now.
In an ideal world, N’Golo Kante would have got over his injury problems and remained at Stamford Bridge. The Frenchman is no longer in west London, though, which is why Chelsea need to bring in Caicedo.

The Ecuador international could be the perfect replacement for the World Cup winner, as he is an excellent ball-winner.
Caicedo made 100 tackles in the Premier League last season, more than any other player bar Fulham’s Joao Palhinha (FBref).
Ultimately, with Kante leaving, it is not hard to see why Chelsea are so fixated on the Brighton man, and it now looks like they have a great chance of landing him.
If they can get this one over the line, Pochettino is likely to be a happy man.
