‘Will hurt me the most’: Some Chelsea fans gutted as teenager will reportedly leave on loan with option to buy

Tino Anjorin is reportedly heading out the exit doors at Stamford Bridge before the summer transfer window shuts – and some Chelsea fans are not happy about the speculation.

BBC Sport reports on its deadline day transfer blog (9:17am, 31 August) that Russian top-flight club Lokomotiv Moscow are close to signing Anjorin on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old will reportedly link up with Lokomotiv Moscow on a loan deal that includes a £17million option to buy. However, the Blues are inserting a buy-back clause in any deal, so he could return to the Bridge further down the line.

According to The Sun, the buy-back clause will be worth around £25million.

Anjorin has impressed in recent years within the Chelsea academy as an attacking midfielder that can be a real goal threat pushing up the pitch.

The English teenager has played five senior games for the club and is someone first-team boss Thomas Tuchel has included in his training.

However, a move to Moscow sounds imminent for him.

Chelsea fans gutted with Tino Anjorin transfer news

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are annoyed by the rumours Anjorin is on his way out of the club.

First of all, some don’t like the fact the promising teenager may not be competing for a spot in Tuchel’s team this season. The playmaker has a lot of talent that means he’s good enough to be with the senior group, but the competition for the forward positions is staggering.

Secondly, a lot don’t like the sound of Anjorin’s permanent sale. It’s worth mentioning the buy-back clause that should ease some worries.

There is no doubt he’s a a teenager that is highly rated by the fanbase.
