Graham Potter is reportedly thinking about sending new Chelsea signing David Datro Fofana out on loan in January.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Potter will ‘make a decision’ and ‘decide together with the board’ whether to release the striker in the second-half of the month.
Fofana was only officially unveiled as a Blue on Saturday, following his £10m move from Molde.
Almost immediately after going through the media rituals, the 20-year-old got stuck into training with his new teammates.

Just 24 hours later, the Ivorian was thrust into the spotlight away to the reigning Premier League champions.
Potter handed Fofana his debut during the 4-0 FA Cup third round defeat against Manchester City.
He only played 45-minutes and failed to swing the tie in Chelsea’s favour, but will surely have learned a few valuable lessons at the Etihad yesterday evening.
Mainly that the intensity in England is like nothing else on the planet, especially not the Norwegian first division.

Which is perhaps why Potter is apparently considering letting the forward flourish elsewhere this term.
There is a loan decision to be made on David Datro Fofana
It’s a huge ask for the young attacker to come in and instantly make an impact at the club.
Unfortunately for Fofana, Chelsea require a saviour immediately, so there is a certain pressure for him to perform.
Yet, very few fans would begrudge him for gradually growing into his role, rather than ripping the scene to shreds admittedly.
Although, some would surely complain if the number 27 was sent packing straight away in a period where Potter’s side are in desperate need of goals.
Fofana scored 15 times in the Eliteserien and another four in European competitions before being signed by Todd Boehly,

This is almost triple the number of Chelsea’s top marksmen this season, Raheem Sterling, who stands on six.
Should Fofana be freed until the end of the term, or allowed to at least try and fire the Blues up the league table?
Only Potter can answer this question.
