RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku is reportedly undecided on whether or not to complete a move to Chelsea.

Described as “world class” former Leipzig coach Achim Beierlorzer, 26-year-old Nkunku is a talented attacker that’s now being recognised by the rest of Europe.

The French forward has started the season in fine form, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances across all competitions. He’s well on his way to proving his total of 35 goals last season was not a one-off.

Nkunku undecided on Chelsea move

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has shared that Nkunku doesn’t yet know if he’ll complete a move to Stamford Bridge.

Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: “The information I’ve been given is he hasn’t fully made up his mind yet because there are still talks going on with lots of European clubs. But it does seem that Chelsea have sneaked ahead of the pack.”

This comes after a lot of transfer speculation suggesting the France international could be on his way to Chelsea.

Journalist David Ornstein recently reported that Nkunku has signed a pre-contract with the Blues, who are committed to paying more than the release clause in his existing deal. Despite rival interest from Premier League clubs, the deal was described as pretty much “done and dusted”.

It sounds like this transfer saga may not be over yet, though.

Nkunku is a seriously dangerous attacker with express pace, something Celtic found out earlier this week in the Champions League group stages.

He’s proving in Leipzig colours he can score goals for fun and make big impacts in games, but would he be able to convert that form in the Premier League?

Everything points towards him being a future superstar. Hopefully, Chelsea are the team that do eventually win the race for his signature.
