Chelsea have been urged to sign Robert Lewandowski to replace wantaway striker Romelu Lukaku.
Former defender Scott Minto has claimed on TalkSport that the Blues should approach the Bayern Munich man if the club are successful with their move for Sadio Mane.
The signing of Belgian Lukaku smashed Chelsea’s record transfer fee, with the Blues paying more than £97m for his services a year ago.

The deal has been far from successful though, with the striker scoring just eight league goals despite a promising start.
The stats pale in comparison to the Polish international, who scored 50 goals in 46 games last season, leading Bayern to another Bundesliga title.
However, the striker has openly admitted his intentions to leave the club this summer, with Barcelona originally the favourites for the deal.
The issue for the Catalan side would be their financial woes, with them potentially not being able to afford his extortionate wages.
And Minto now believes this could be an opening for Chelsea, with the striker holding the skills required to be an immediate hit.

He said: “Lewandowski would be absolutely superb in the short term. Even if he’s on a two-year contract, he might get away with a three.
“He’s proven right now. Chelsea are all about the here and now, they have been for the last two decades.”

An acquisition of Lewandowski would be sensational for the Blues, with his goal record over the last few years speaking for itself.
The Polish international, who Lukaku has even called ‘world-class’, has been unlucky not to win a Ballon d’Or over the last two years, and his 86 goals in the Champions League has proven he is more than capable to star outside of the Bundesliga.
While the transfer may be unlikely, the deal for Lukaku to leave should be completed by the Blues, if only to remove any negative energy the Belgian has brought over the last 12 months.
