Barcelona are being linked with a move to sign a Chelsea first-team player – but some Blues fans on Twitter are responding to say there is no way he should be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.
Timo Werner, 25, is the Chelsea player receiving transfer speculation to the Spanish La Liga heavyweights.
Marca reports that Barcelona are interested in trying to sign Werner on loan when the January transfer window opens.
It is explained that a Barcelona low on cash may dip into the loan market, so are looking at Chelsea’s £45million speed machine as a possible target. Also, Manchester United’s Edinson Cavani and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling are in contention.

Chelsea fans stress they keep Werner
A selection of Chelsea supporters are adamant they shouldn’t get rid of Werner in January, especially in any kind of loan deal.
The German forward has missed a few games lately through injury. However, started three consecutive Premier League games before his setback as he started to reestablish himself in Thomas Tuchel’s best XI.
His return of 14 goals and 16 assists in 62 Chelsea appearances since he joined last summer doesn’t quite tell the full story.
For him, he’s more commonly criticised by neutrals for the sporadic finishing than all the good things he contributes on the pitch.
It’s great to see that some Chelsea fans are still fully behind him, though:
Joker in the pack
If Werner is on form, he’s capable of tormenting any defence in world football.
The lightning quick forward gives Chelsea an extra edge with his pace and movement, something that comes so naturally to him.
He can still be a superstar at the Bridge but needs to recapture his goalscoring form from his RB Leipzig days.
