Chelsea supporters were pretty adamant about bringing Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge after they were updated with a new transfer hook.
Eurosport reported that the Blues would turn to Inter Milan’s striker if they failed to land Erling Haaland this summer.
Here’s how Chelsea fans reacted to possibly bringing the Belgium striker back to Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku left Chelsea a decade ago and hasn’t looked back since.
He’s scored bucket loads for West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Manchester United and now Milan.
Inter signed the 27-year-old in 2019 for £74m (BBC Sport), a price that’s certainly been paid off in goals.

The fearsome forward is on 25 in 34 appearances this season, six short of Haaland’s incredible return for Borussia Dortmund.
Both number nines are being eyed up by Chelsea and also Manchester City.
It could be a simple case of one joining the club the other doesn’t.
But this seems unrealistically simple.
Real Madrid are also in the hunt for Haaland’s signature, so a tug of war could certainly ensue between the La Liga champions and England’s elite.

However, missing out on Dortmund’s phenomenon wouldn’t be the biggest tragedy, especially if it meant buying Lukaku instead.
Definitely watch this space over the coming months to see who, if anyone, will be walking through the Stamford Bridge gates.
