Jude Bellingham demonstrated his capabilities of being a future captain during England’s World Cup clash with France last night.
ITV captured the moment the Borussia Dortmund midfielder highlighted his skipper potential by consoling Harry Kane after he missed from the penalty spot.
Bellingham was the first England player to rush to his leader after the Tottenham Hotspur striker blazed his effort over Hugo Lloris’ bar.
There might be a decade difference between the two compatriots, but Bellingham took upon himself to be the big character in the situation.

Kane’s wayward attempt from 12-yards eventually cost the Three Lions’ place in Qatar.
However, Gareth Southgate’s side wouldn’t have even been in a position to possibly knock the reigning world champions out had the forward not converted a penalty earlier on in the tie.
It was a heart-breaking moment for everybody backing England, yet it was heart-warming moment to see Bellingham act so maturely in such a sensitive situation.
Jude Bellingham is a true jewel
The teenager emphasised his credentials as Kane’s successor for the armband, and possibly at club level as well.
He has already captained Dortmund on several occasions this season, a trait that has clearly been welcomed by Chelsea.

Todd Boehly is reportedly planning to make a bid for the 19-year-old in the summer.
How good would Bellingham look in Blue with the capital C curved round his arm?
