Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has enjoyed another sensational performance for the U21 side last night.
He was part of the development side who picked up a dominant 3-0 win over Tottenham.
The Italian was signed for £12m during the summer transfer window.

The signing came as a result of Todd Boehly’s insistence on adding young stars to the squad, with the ambition being for them to break into the first team setup. A number of summer acquisitions have already threatened to do so.
The Blues spent big money on Carney Chukwuemeka, and he has been involved greatly with the first team. He has already made a number of appearances under Graham Potter.
Omari Hutchinson, who came in from Arsenal, has also been named on the bench for a Premier League match, and could feature tomorrow night against Manchester City in the League Cup.
Casadei impresses for U21s
He was one of the development players who didn’t feature last night, with speculation rising that he will be involved tomorrow.
However, those that did play last night carried on the good form the team are in.
Casadei in particular starred, in a season where his discipline has been brought into question as much as his brilliance has.
However last night, he showed exactly what Todd Boehly pushed to bring in over the summer.

The Italian picked the ball up in his own half, before effortlessly skipping past a Spurs challenge. He then perfectly slotted in Malik Mothersille for his second of the evening, and Chelsea’s third.
With impressive performances like this, it will surely only be a matter of time before he is pushing with his fellow youngsters for a shot at the first team.
With the money spent on bringing him into the club, there will be eyes on the staff to make him an important player.
