Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi has provided an update on his condition through social media after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 19-year-old who was confirmed positive for the virus on Thursday night will be in self-isolation for a week, along with the club personnel who had close contact with him.
He posted a video on social media this morning following the club’s announcement along with and took the opportunity to thank those who sent him good wishes and provide some updates about the situation.

In the video, Hudson-Odoi said he has had the virus for a couple of days but claimed he has recovered from it.
He added: “I’m following the health guideline and self-isolating myself from everybody for the week.
“I hope to see everybody soon and hopefully be back on the pitch very soon. Take care.”
Chelsea have partially closed the training ground facilities in the hope of stopping the spreading of the virus.
Chelsea have also confirmed on its official site that Frank Lampard’s pre-match press conference ahead of Premier League match against Aston Villa which scheduled to take place on Friday afternoon has been cancelled.
The Premier League have scheduled “an emergency meeting” on Friday after Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta tested positive for the COVID-19.
It is expected that this weekend’s fixtures will be called off, although there have even been calls for the Premier League to suspend this season for a period of time.
