John Terry spoke glowingly about Jordan Pickford and Jude Bellingham following their roles in England’s World Cup victory last night.
Terry delightfully tapped away on Twitter about the compatriots reportedly wanted by Chelsea after they aided the Three Lions’ 3-0 win over Senegal.
Whilst one of the players rightly received all of the plaudits, the other’s contribution should not go under the radar.
Jude Bellingham you beauty
Bellingham seized the grandest footballing stage by the scruff of the neck and bullied Senegal without mercy.

He was an influential presence in the middle of the park and was at the heart of England’s first two goals.
The 19-year-old played the perfect cross to locate Jordan Henderson’s run into the box, with the Liverpool captain calmly slotting past Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy.
Harry Kane’s cool finish on the stroke of half-time was directly assisted by Phil Foden, but the space in front of Senegal’s defence was carved up on by Bellingham’s bursting drive from midfield.
It was everything fans and rivals alike have come to expect from the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
Strength, precision, composure and maturity.
It’s no wonder Foden said his fellow talent had ‘no weakness in his game’ at the full-time whistle.
Chelsea’s apparent desire to sign Bellingham must be getting stronger by the day, and it won’t slow down the further he progresses in the World Cup.
Jordan Pickford plays his past at World Cup
At the opposite end of the field, Pickford deserves credit for his contribution to the result.

Although he was a spectator for most of the evening, his save against Boulaye Dia in the first-half with the scores level was a turning point for England.
Everton’s goalkeeper also distributed efficiently throughout the contest, a skill that his opposite number is yet to master.
Mendy was the victim of Gareth Southgate’s attacking contingent, and didn’t do much to help his Stamford Bridge career.
Todd Boehly is seemingly prepared to get rid of the Senegalese goalie in favour of Pickford.
Based on the evidence from yesterday, and the World Cup in general, Boehly’s potential decision might be justified.
