Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish said he often asks for advice from assistant manager John Terry about Frank Lampard as he named the Chelsea manager in his all-time top 10 Premier League midfielders.
The 24-year-old is regarded by many as one of the most exciting midfielders in the Premier League at the moment.
Similar to Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Grealish’s versatility allows him to take on different roles on the pitch, often operating as a left forward this season.
When asked to name ten of Premier League’s all-time best midfielders, Grealish put Lampard at fifth.

He told BT Sport: “He’s obviously the all-time midfield goalscorer in the Premier League. He was unbelievable.
“I always ask John Terry actually at Villa about little ideas that Lampard had, not base my game on him, but to improve my game.
“Practicing shots, free kicks, which is why he ended up scoring so many goals.”

He also placed another former Blues Cesc Fabregas at seventh on his list.
Grealish highlighted how the former Arsenal playmaker was already a regular from such a young age and that was one of those who recorded over 100 assists in the Premier League.
“When he was at Chelsea, he was more of a holding midfielder,” he added. “His passing range was unbelievable.”
"The amount he runs in a game is scary." 😳
"He just had everything." ✨
