N’Golo Kante has named Jorginho as the funniest player in the Chelsea dressing room as he explained how their relationship helps their partnership on the pitch.
It is safe to say that Kante and Jorginho are not exactly alike in terms of personalities.
The former is known for being a shy and quiet person. Although, Mason Mount previously highlighted how Kante is still a “massive character” in the dressing room despite not saying much.
Jorginho, on the other hand, is clearly an extrovert.
Despite their differences, however, Kante actually likes being around his talkative midfield partner.
“Jorginho,” the France international responded when asked to name the funniest player in the Chelsea squad (via the 5th Stand app).
“He likes to joke and is always in good spirits in the dressing room.
“I enjoy Jorginho’s company, and he really is a good guy who I like a lot. He is always laughing and is a good guy both on and off the pitch.
“I think it helps when you like the people you work with and because we get on so well, I think that shows in our performances in midfield together. We feel comfortable with one another.”
These two have arguably been Chelsea’s best performers under Thomas Tuchel, as evidenced by their Ballon d’Or nominations.
Tuchel himself has repeatedly praised the pair along with Mateo Kovacic, describing them as “fantastic” central midfielders.
