Chelsea are reportedly certain that Levi Colwill will be pulling on their jersey permanently in the not-so-distant future.
According to The Athletic, the Stamford Bridge chain of command are ‘keen’ for the defender to return to the club on a full-time basis, and is ‘expected to play for them’ once he finally finishes life on the road.
Colwill is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues, despite being part of the family since the age of eight.
Now fast approaching his 20th birthday, the teenager still awaits the moment he fully becomes part of the furniture.
Instead, he must prove himself away from Cobham before returning to take on the challenges of the first-team.

He has certainly made very good strides towards re-joining his colleagues in London, thanks productive loan spells at Huddersfield Town and Brighton & Hove Albion.
The centre-back almost secured Premier League promotion with Huddersfield last season, but was denied at the final hurdle by Nottingham Forest.
Thankfully, Colwill only had to wait a few months before securing his top-division dream.
Brighton signed the 19-year-old on loan, a deal overseen by none other than Graham Potter.
Will Levi Colwill come back to Chelsea?
Potter hardly played the England youth international before taking over from Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.
Yet, the fact the struggling manager brought Colwill to the Amex in the first-place hints that he would do the same in his current coaching position.

That’s if Potter is still in charge of the Blues by the summer, when a decision on his and Colwill’s future will have already potentially be made.
Brighton are said to be keen on extending the talented central defender’s contract, whilst other English teams are sniffing around his situation.
But Chelsea should have the final say on their academy graduate, one that may end up with him finally stepping out under the lights at the Bridge.
