Reports have claimed that Graham Potter is yet to decide what to do with Gabriel Slonina ahead of next season.
According to The Athletic, a decision is yet to be made over whether he will be part of the first team next season, or if a loan spell away will be better for him.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise to where he is now, after being Chelsea’s first signing of the Todd Boehly era at the club.

Since then, he has made his full debut for his country, USA, where he produced a sensational save for the first team.
Slonina originally completed a loan spell back at his former side, Chicago Fire, until the MLS season came to an end.
After that, he has become a regular for the youth sides at Chelsea. He has played four games in Premier League 2, conceding just one goal up to now.
Potter unsure what to do with Slonina
His abilities as well as the hope the Blues have regarding his future could see him become a member of the first team as early as next season.
These hopes could be boosted by the likelihood that Chelsea will be selling at least one goalkeeper this summer.

Edouard Mendy, who has lost his place in the starting side to Kepa Arrizabalaga this season, is reportedly not close to signing a new contract to extend his stay with the club.
Despite the obvious pathway into the first team that would come with the Senegal international leaving, The Athletic have claimed that Potter has not yet decided whether a loan deal would be more beneficial.
With his talents not difficult to see, Slonina will not be short of potential admirers as he looks to take the next step in his career.
