Zinedine Zidane could be in line to be the next Chelsea manager, according to reports.
First of all, it’s important to stress that Graham Potter is currently still in the position as the Blues head coach.
There’s a lot of noise right now around Stamford Bridge from a frustrated fanbase, which is understandable given the team have two wins in their last 16 matches across all competitions.
The Blues owners are sticking with Potter for the meantime, though.
However, it’s no surprise to hear rumours emerging surrounding potential future managers.

According to Spanish publication Sport, Zidane is in the running to be the next Chelsea boss.
The report acknowledges the 50-year-old, along with Luis Enrique, as two potential replacements for Chelsea’s under-pressure manager.
Elsewhere, journalist Simon Phillips claimed on his Substack that Chelsea do admire Brentford coach Thomas Frank.
The Blues have been linked with Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim, too.

Described as a “spectacular coach” by Luka Modric a few years ago, Zidane is one of the biggest names in the world of football.
He’s won 11 major trophies during two periods as Real Madrid manager, including three Champions League trophies and two La Liga titles.
The Frenchman, who boasts a 66 per cent win ratio across his two spells as manager at the Bernabeu, is current unemployed and out of work.
It would be truly remarkable to watch him test himself in England in the Premier League, but the immediate focus is around the man who still sits in the manager’s dugout in west London.
For Potter, it feels like another massive game this weekend at home to Leeds United in the Premier League.
