Tammy Abraham said Timo Werner has been the funniest guy in the Chelsea dressing room recently as he revealed the Germany international’s “weird” habit.

When you think of Werner, you think of a hard-working player who can run faster than almost anyone on the football pitch.

Obviously, there have been moments when Werner showed his funny side in interviews, such as when he openly admitted that he doesn’t understand Billy Gilmour and his accent.

But do you know that Werner often shouts in German in a quiet changing room? Abraham said so.

“Recently, I would say Timo Werner,” the England international told Soccer AM when asked about the funniest player at Chelsea.

“He has come out of his shell, starting to know more about him, he’s a loud character in the changing room.

“It surprises me too. He’s just weird but it’s just him.

“He likes to be loud. Sometimes the changing room might be quiet and Timo just started screaming in German, just randomly.

“It makes everyone laugh, and he’s a good lad.”

Interestingly, Abraham also named the fellow striker as the worst-dressed player in the squad.

“He does have an excuse to be fair, he’s just come to the country, probably hasn’t brought his stuff from Germany yet,” Abraham explained.

“Sorry Timo, you’re still my boy, I love you, but yeah [laugh].”
