Journalist Bobby Vincent has claimed that Noni Madueke spoke with Frank Lampard after he was told to switch wings against Bournemouth at the weekend.
He claimed on Twitter that the youngster was unhappy with the decision, and was soon back on his more familiar right-hand-side.
It was another strong showing for Madueke at the weekend, who has been one of the shining lights in the Premier League games leading up to the end of the season.

He opened his account against Arsenal in the week, and was a constant threat on the wing against the Cherries this weekend.
Thankfully this time, the Blues were able to convert his strong showing into three points, as they won 3-1 at the Vitality stadium.
Madueke not happy with Lampard decision
In the second half, Lampard looked to get the best out of him by moving him to the left, with Mykhailo Mudryk pushed out to the opposite side.
Now, Vincent has claimed that this didn’t have the desired effect, leaving Madueke unhappy with the original decision.
He said: “Madueke wasn’t too happy at swapping sides. He spoke to Lampard and now he’s back out on the right-hand side.“

The England U21 international has proven in his last two matches that he has to be in the manager’s thinking for the remaining games this season.
Despite coming in with little fanfare in January in comparison to the likes of Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez, he has showing signs that he can be a key player next season for whoever is made the new permanent manager.
It is still reportedly likely to be Mauricio Pochettino who takes the job for next year, however things have gone very quiet over negotiations and where things are at.
