The feel-good factor that has returned to Chelsea since Enzo Maresca took over as manager went to another level at the weekend when the Blues beat PSG in the Club World Cup final.
The Blues were seen as underdogs going into the game, however blew the Champions League holders away with an emphatic first half performance at the MetLife stadium.
Cole Palmer was at his best in attack, however there were a number of players who had greatly impressed during the competition.
Three Chelsea players were in the Team of the Tournament, and now Maresca will be looking towards a side who can sustain a more serious Premier League title challenge.
Steve Nicol has already claimed Chelsea can win the league next season, however they must ensure they get things right in the last couple of months in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea must prioritise Jorrel Hato signing after Club World Cup win
One area that needs adding to is left-back. Marc Cucurella has enjoyed an excellent season at Stamford Bridge, but he could be the only recognised player in that position if Renato Veiga leaves as expected.
The Blues have previously been linked with Jorrel Hato, who has emerged as one of the most promising defenders in Europe during his time at Ajax.
It has been a clear plan since Todd Boehly took over to have two competent players in each position. This has been shown by the various signings who have not instantly broke into the starting squad.
Cucurella was forced to play an incredible amount of minutes for club and country last season, and bringing in a back up should be seen as a priority for the Blues this summer.
Chelsea are rivalling the likes of Arsenal for a deal, however will surely believe they are in a strong position to sign anyone they wish after being crowned champions of the world.

Hato already considering Chelsea move
Chelsea have been considering signing Hato for a while, with the youngster well aware that there is serious interest in his signature.
Hato has strongly considered the switch to Stamford Bridge already, and his dynamic profile will be perfect for how Maresca uses his full-backs.
He has already shown a versatility that also allows him to feature in the centre, with the Chelsea boss frequently inverting one of his wide defenders to form a back three.
There will be big-money signings that Chelsea fans would love to now see their team go and sign, however the reported £42m (CaughtOffside) needed to sign Hato should be the priority ahead of the new Premier League season.
