Chelsea have really underperformed this season, but Raheem Sterling has been a bright spark at times.
Raheem Sterling did not have his best game against Manchester United on Wednesday and the execution of his final ball is not always there. But overall, the winger is having a pretty good campaign.
In fact, he was one of the standout footballers in the Premier League in November and was nominated for Player of the Month as a result.
However, Harry Maguire went on to claim the accolade in the end and you would not blame his England team-mate for feeling a bit hard done by.
Raheem Sterling’s form in November
Chelsea only managed to win one of their Premier League games last month, so that probably did not help Sterling’s cause.
However, the 29-year-old played a big role in that victory, which came against Tottenham Hotspur, after providing an assist for one of Nicolas Jackson’s goals.
He then followed that up with a goal in the 4-4 draw with his former club Manchester City afterwards, delivering in another big game.
And then against Newcastle United, Sterling scored an incredible free-kick to make it two goals and one assist in the three top-flight fixtures Chelsea played in November.

Will Raheem Sterling get nominated again?
If the £50m England international (BBC Sport) keeps playing the way he has been, he certainly has a good chance of being nominated for Player of the Month again.
Sterling will not care too much about that, though. His aim now just has to be helping Mauricio Pochettino‘s men to climb the table.
They are going nowhere at the minute and put in a really concerning performance against Maguire’s United side at Old Trafford.
A lot of players were poor during that game, with Rangers legend Ally McCoist being very critical of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
