Joao Pedro and Robert Sanchez are a couple of players who have come in for praise following Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday.
Pedro scored Chelsea’s opener, while Sanchez helped the Blues to keep a clean sheet with an excellent display in goal.
After the game, Liam Rosenior described Sanchez as “outstanding”, with the new Chelsea manager clearly happy with his performance.

Tosin Adarabioyo’s best performance in the Premier League this season
As well as Sanchez and Pedro, Tosin Adarabioyo also played well. In fact, his display against Brentford was probably his best in the Premier League this term.
It has not been an easy campaign for the central defender. Adarabioyo made a huge mistake in Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Leeds United last month and was not trusted by Enzo Maresca after that.
Rosenior has given Adarabioyo a chance, though, starting him in games against Charlton Athletic and Brentford so far. The result? Well, Adarabioyo has not let his new boss down yet.
He scored a goal in the Charlton win and defended superbly in Saturday’s victory over Brentford.
Despite spending less than an hour on the pitch, the 28-year-old managed to make 15 defensive actions, the most in the game, according to Sofascore. Thirteen of those defensive actions were clearances, so he was clearly able to deal with the danger that came his way in the west London derby.

What should Chelsea do with him if he continues to improve?
Adarabioyo also won all four of his aerial duels, making good use of his 6’5″ frame.
All in all, it is difficult to recall a better performance in the Premier League from the former Fulham man this season. Chelsea are keen on signing Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, so Adarabioyo needs to keep performing or run the risk of falling lower in the centre-back pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Tosin Adarabioyo still has Chelsea fans to convince after almost scoring own goal in Brentford clash
Adarabioyo will have to do more than simply put in one good performance against Brentford to win over Chelsea supporters, especially considering his display on Saturday was not completely faultless.
He almost scored an own goal in comedic style but was bailed out by Sanchez, who made an excellent stop against his teammate.
Adarabioyo’s biggest issue this term, however, has been getting beaten in one-v-one situations. It is something that he has to improve on if he wants to remain at Chelsea.
