Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are both believed to be interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
Chelsea tried to sign Osimhen on deadline day in the last summer transfer window but failed, giving Galatasaray the opportunity to bring him to Turkey.
The Blues’ interest does not look to have disappeared, though, and the same can be said about PSG’s.
The French club also targeted Osimhen in 2024 and appear to be in the driving seat for his signature this time around. And Chelsea could end up helping them to sign him by buying one of their players.

Chelsea interested in Randal Kolo Muani
While Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen still looks to be there, it does seem to have diminished a bit.
It is thought that Liam Delap is now one of Chelsea’s top targets for the striker position, while the Blues are now being linked with PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani.
According to TBR Football, Chelsea have scouted Kolo Muani during his loan spell at Juventus, which is proving to be a productive one.
In eight Serie A appearances for the Old Lady, the 26-year-old has scored five goals — a very good return.
However, it does not mean that Chelsea should go out and buy him now, especially when Osimhen is on the market.
Amid their interest in the forward, Chelsea fear PSG in the race for Osimhen. It means they could give up before the race even truly starts and prioritise another striker like Kolo Muani instead.
Any fee PSG receive for Kolo Muani would obviously go towards their bid for Osimhen. But really, Chelsea should be putting everything into trying to beat Luis Enrique’s side to Osimhen instead of thinking about turning to Kolo Muani, who cost his current employers £76m.

Why Chelsea should prioritise Victor Osimhen over Kolo Muani
Kolo Muani’s career at PSG has not quite gone to plan, hence his temporary move to Juventus.
He has had one standout season, which came at Eintracht Frankfurt a couple of years ago. Ultimately, his track record is not as good as Osimhen’s, with the 26-year-old having another great campaign in front of goal.
In 30 appearances for Galatasaray this term, Osimhen has scored 26 goals. Instead of potentially funding PSG’s move for Osimhen by signing Kolo Muani, Chelsea should be prioritising the Nigerian. It makes little sense not to.
