Chelsea transfer target Alejandro Garnacho was one talking point from Manchester United’s 3-2 win against Ipswich Town on Wednesday.
Chelsea considered signing Garnacho in the January transfer window, but no official offer was made and the winger ended up staying at United.
He is still in Ruben Amorim’s plans for now, starting in United’s latest victory. However, after Patrick Dorgu was sent off, the 20-year-old was the man Amorim decided to sacrifice in order to bring on another defender.
That did not go down well with Garnacho, whose reaction to being taken off could now land him in hot water with his manager.

Alejandro Garnacho heads straight down tunnel
Garnacho did not have the best game against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month so would have wanted to redeem himself on Wednesday.
But his outing came to an abrupt end because of Dorgu’s red card, which resulted in the Argentina international heading straight down the tunnel after being substituted.
Amorim was clearly not pleased with his decision to do that instead of going to the bench, telling reporters that he will speak to the player about the incident.
It is an incident that may also get some figures at Chelsea talking following the club’s interest in the player.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea made background checks on Garnacho’s character during the January transfer window, so the club seem to care about his conduct and not just his ability.
His reaction to being subbed, then, may have not gone down well in west London. Nevertheless, it would not be a surprise if the Blues still made a move for him in the summer. It has been claimed that Maresca really wanted Garnacho in the last transfer window.

Chelsea are interested in other Manchester United players
Garnacho is not the only United player who is on Chelsea’s radar. It is thought that Chelsea also like Kobbie Mainoo.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Chelsea have Leny Yoro on their shortlist as well, so that is another United star the club could try to sign in the summer.
Central defence has been a problem area for Maresca recently, but the Italian has just welcomed back Wesley Fofana to his squad in a huge boost.
