Even though the transfer window closed on Friday for Premier League sides, Chelsea still had an opportunity all the way up until midnight last night to move players on.
The transfer markets in Saudi Arabia and South America remained open, and a number of Chelsea youngsters in particular were being targeted for permanent moves.
Flamengo were keen on signing Deivid Washington, however that deal did not go through in the final moments of their transfer window.

One transfer which was confirmed though was the sale of Angelo Gabriel to Al-Nassr, where he will link up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
A deal was agreed for a fee of around £20m for Angelo, with it looking as if he had no real future at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea selling Angelo Gabriel proves Todd Boehly’s project is working
The plethora of young players who have been brought in to the club since Todd Boehly took over the club has been well-documented, with many putting their spending down to greed.
However, the fact the Blues have made a substantial bit of profit without Angelo playing a competitive game for them shows exactly what they are trying to do, and why it is so far working out.
Chelsea are taking opportunities when they see them to sign some of the world’s most promising youngsters before their rivals, however there is of course no evidence they will all fulfil their potentials.
Chelsea still able to make big signings
However, the fees they are signing the players for makes it very difficult for them to make a loss, and with how tight the PSR rules are at this time for Premier League sides, any extra profit that can contribute to them making big signings down the line are going to be crucial.
The Blues already cashed in this summer on Omari Hutchinson and Diego Moreira, making profit on the duo they actually signed for nothing as far as transfer fees go.
While not every signing has worked out at all since Boehly took over, the project of signing the stars of tomorrow has already reaped its rewards in the very early stages of it playing out.
