Chelsea have a tough game after the international break, travelling to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
It could be a match with goals in it, with Chelsea‘s attack firing at the moment. While the Blues were only able to score one goal last time out against Nottingham Forest, they are the second-highest scorers in the Premier League this season.
Part of that is down to Nicolas Jackson, who has netted four times in seven outings. The Senegalese media were not impressed with Jackson‘s overall performance against Malawi on Friday, but he has performed well for Chelsea this term.
However, now could be a good time for Enzo Maresca to drop the striker and give Christopher Nkunku a start up front in the Premier League.

Christopher Nkunku scores for France
Nkunku grabbed his first goal for France in their 4-1 win against Israel on Thursday, and it was a really well-taken one.
The 26-year-old spun past a few of Israel’s defenders before slotting the ball into the back of the net for Didier Deschamps’ side.
It is one reason why Maresca should at least consider starting Nkunku against Liverpool next Sunday, but it is not the only one.
Jackson has not scored for Chelsea since his brace against West Ham United last month, whereas Nkunku has had no trouble netting in the cup games he has been starting in.
Chelsea fans actually wanted to see Nkunku start in their side’s 1-1 draw with Forest, but Maresca opted to persist with Jackson instead.
Who will start up front for Chelsea against Liverpool?
While you certainly can make an argument for Nkunku starting at Anfield, you suspect that Maresca will stick with Jackson.
The Chelsea manager has been loyal to Jackson, Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho this season, which is understandable.
It is an attack that is firing at the moment and helping Chelsea to win games, which means Nkunku, who cost his current employers £52m, may have to wait a bit longer before he gets his first start as a striker in the Premier League under Maresca.
