Games are going to come thick and fast for Chelsea now they are back from the first international break of the season.

The Blues are back in action away at West Ham on Saturday, with Enzo Maresca looking to keep his 100% run away from home in the Premier League.

They picked up another win on their travels against Bournemouth last weekend after a number of substitutes made the difference when it mattered most.

Jadon Sancho and Christopher Nkunku combined for the only goal of the game, with both no doubt pushing for a start this weekend.

Finding a spot for the Frenchman has been hard for Maresca this season, with his best bet at this stage looking in the striker position.

Maresca should consider dropping Nicolas Jackson

This would mean dropping Nicolas Jackson from the starting side, however this is certainly something the boss should consider.

Jackson has actually got off to a strong start to the campaign, with the club putting faith in him after not signing Victor Osimhen this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino was a huge fan of the Senegal international, describing him as ‘amazing’, and he has started every league game so far this season.

Christopher Nkunku pushing for a start

However, the option of Nkunku is becoming very difficult to ignore, and it may be worth seeing how he combines with the plethora of talent in the attack from the start.

The decision would by no means be a slight on how Jackson has been playing, and would certainly not signify a permanent end to his time at the club.

Jackson has already shown a real ability to make an impact on the left of the attack, where he would likely be competing with Jadon Sancho for minutes.

Mykhialo Mudryk seems to be at the back of the queue when it comes to the attackers right now, with reports today suggesting the Blues could be interested in moving him on.
