Chelsea relied on the attacking firepower on their bench to beat Bournemouth last weekend.

Chelsea secured their second victory of the Premier League season last Saturday by winning 1-0 away at Bournemouth, which makes it seven points from four games. There’s no doubt that Enzo Maresca’s substitutions made a huge impact on the result.

Jadon Sancho, who came on at half time for his Blues debut, delivered an eye-catching display. Chelsea fans loved Jadon Sancho’s debut performance against Bournemouth.

In the final five minutes at the Vitality Stadium, Sancho assisted fellow Chelsea substitute Christopher Nkunku to score the winning goal away from home.

Jadon Sancho and Christopher Nkunku message

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea duo Sancho and Nkunku told each other they would make an impact before being subbed on against Bournemouth.

The attacking pair were spot on because they ended up combining to earn the Blues three important league points.

While Sancho impressed on his first appearance since joining Chelsea, Nkunku also showed he adds an extra clinical touch at the top end of the pitch. The competition for places in the Blues forward line is extremely tough, though.

Who starts in Chelsea’s attack against West Ham?

We’re intrigued to see if there’s any changes in attack when Chelsea travel to West Ham this Saturday afternoon in the league.

Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke started on the wings versus Bournemouth, with Cole Palmer in the No.10 behind central striker Nicolas Jackson.

For Maresca, he does have the option to rotate his players. But will he want to try with the theme of building a consistent starting XI?

Both Sancho and Nkunku have a fair argument to suggest they should come into the line-up at West Ham. In fact, supporters must be desperate to see more of them play together because there’s an on-field connection there.
