Chelsea are looking to strengthen their attack further before the transfer window closes in September.
They have already signed Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap, and now Xavi Simons could be on his way to Stamford Bridge.
The RB Leipzig star is not the only attacker on Chelsea‘s radar, though. The Blues also have an interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
And if they decide to make a move for him, a few of their current players could be offered to Villa to bring the price of a potential deal down.

Chelsea could offer Tosin Adarabioyo in swap deal for Morgan Rogers
One of those players who could be offered to Villa is Tosin Adarabioyo, who only joined Chelsea last summer.
According to CaughtOffside, the Club World Cup winners are planning to offer Adarabioyo in a swap deal for Rogers.
Rogers is a talented footballer and showed as much last season. He was one of Villa’s best performers, coming up with 18 goal contributions in 37 Premier League appearances.
Adarabioyo, though, will not be the first player whom Enzo Maresca wishes to sacrifice for the attacking midfielder.
It is thought that if Villa make a move for Nicolas Jackson, whom they are believed to be interested in, then Chelsea will make a bid for Rogers.

Enzo Maresca appreciates what Tosin Adarabioyo brings to Chelsea dressing room
Chelsea showed a lot of maturity at the end of last season. They qualified for the Champions League before winning both the Conference League and Club World Cup.
However, the average age of their squad still cannot be overlooked, with Adarabioyo the most experienced player in their dressing room.
Throughout the 2024/25 campaign, Maresca often spoke about the 27-year-old being a leader among this very young group of Chelsea players.
When Maresca discussed Adarabioyo before one game last September, he said: “He is one of the leaders in the dressing room. We are very delighted and very happy with him.”

Ultimately, Adarabioyo is not the kind of individual Maresca will want to lose. In the past, he has also been praised by Pep Guardiola, whom he worked with at Manchester City.
“He has all the quality,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
Chelsea can offer players to Villa in their bid to sign Rogers but not Adarabioyo. They need him in their dressing room.
