In new signing Geovany Quenda and Estevao Willian, Chelsea have two of the most promising youngsters in world football.

Estevao made a real impression at Chelsea last season after scoring against Barcelona and Liverpool.

Quenda will now be hoping that he can make a similar impact, yet he may be able to do even better than his teammate.

How would you rank Chelsea’s so-called “untouchables” ahead of the new season?

Here is The Chelsea Chronicle's list!

7. Josh Acheampong

6. Estevao Willian

5. Levi Colwill

4. Moises Caicedo

3. Joao Pedro

2. Reece James

Geovany Quenda could surpass Estevao Willian’s 2025/26 Premier League season goal tally

Quenda’s former youth coach Fabio Roque has put him up there with Estevao and Lamine Yamal.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Roque said: “He’s one of the most impressive players I’ve seen. Among players born in 2007, he is one of the best in the world, alongside Lamine Yamal and Estevao. My expectations are very high, but I know it is a long career.”

Estevao and Yamal have both been described as generational talents, with Quenda probably in a category or two below them. Nevertheless, despite how much Estevao impressed last term, Quenda could still be in for a more productive campaign next year.

In the 2025/26 Premier League season, Estevao only actually scored two goals. That is not a hard tally to beat, especially if Quenda gets regular playing time.

Quenda is already familiar with one English side, Arsenal, after facing them in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last term.

The 19-year-old could not make an impact in the tie, but hopefully it will be a different story this time around.

Geovany Quenda and Estevao Willian could both start for Chelsea

How Xabi Alonso utilises Quenda will be interesting to see. His best position is on the right, but the Portuguese youngster can also play on the left.

It means Alonso may be able to get both Quenda and Estevao in the same team. It could be quite the exciting winger duo, though you would have to question whether that combo would have enough goals.

Quenda has started at wing-back in the past at Sporting, so he could also be used there at Chelsea if Alonso plays a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Not many will feel that Quenda is quite on Estevao’s level just yet. But he will have the opportunity to prove that he is next season.
