If BlueCo receive £230m in just three potential deals, it will be their best business at Chelsea

Over the last week, most of the talk has been about incoming signings at Chelsea. Granit Xhaka, Marco Palestra, Maxence Lacroix and Pep Chavarria could all join the club in due course.

Palestra looks done, and without a doubt, all four want to join. But as Chelsea scour the market for new signings, Xabi Alonso will know he needs to offload a whole host of players from his bloated squad.

Who will be a bigger success – Enzo Maresca or Xabi Alonso? 🤔

City have confirmed Maresca will replace Guardiola.

A plethora of different players have been linked with leaving Chelsea. From Tyrique George, to Axel Disasi, to Liam Delap. Everton are in talks to sign George, and a deal could be concluded by the end of the week.

Indeed, Chelsea have already raked in north of £70m from the sales of Marc Cucurella and Jimmy-Jay Morgan, and the compensation received from Man City. But three departures could equate to £230m.

BlueCo could produce their best-ever business

According to a report from The Athletic and other sources, Chelsea want £120m for Enzo Fernandez, with Real Madrid supposedly interested. However, that is not the only asking price Chelsea have now set.

The report also indicates that Trevoh Chalobah is rated at £35m and Malo Gusto has a price tag on his head of £75m. If all three are met, it would see Chelsea rake in a total of £230m in the coming months.

Should Chelsea manage to convince the interested parties to meet their asking prices for all three, it would genuinely be the best business BlueCo have ever done. An enormous chunk, for three players.

It would give Xabi Alonso free rein in the market to bring in the best part of a new team, players he believes can guide Chelsea back into the Champions League. It’s a big if, but it would be BlueCo’s best.

What are the chances Chelsea actually get their asking prices?

Starting with the smallest, Chelsea have received an offer for Chalobah from Como. But it was around £25m and Chelsea want more than that. With Fulham and Palace also interested, their chances are strong.

Do you want to see Pep Chavarria, Marco Palestra or Jorrel Hato at left-back next season?

Fernandez is arguably Chelsea’s most prized asset, and while Madrid do want him, he is only one on a list of many midfielders eyed by Madrid. Fernandez’s agents are confident their client will end up at Madrid.

The biggest surprise would be a £75m fee for Gusto. This is a player that cost Chelsea a third of that and while there have been glimpses of quality, he has failed to show he is a player worth such a big sum.

But with Man City interested and Enzo Maresca keen on a reunion, anything is possible. Even if Chelsea got over £200m for the trio, it would be stunning business that may fund Alonso’s new revolution.
