Chelsea were able to beat Fulham 1-0 yesterday, but there are still questions for manager Mauricio Pochettino to answer.
It was Chelsea‘s third straight Premier League victory, so things are improving at Stamford Bridge.
However, Levi Colwill is still playing at left-back, while £89m (BBC Sport) Mykhailo Mudryk did not even manage to make an appearance from off the bench.
At this point, it looks like Mauricio Pochettino does not really know what to do with him.
Mykhailo Mudryk still a conundrum for Mauricio Pochettino
Mudryk has certainly improved compared to last season. The 23-year-old Ukrainian failed to score a single goal for Chelsea during the 2022/23 campaign.
However, this term, Mudryk has netted four times, which includes a strike that helped the Blues to reach the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
You want more for a player who cost almost £90m, but his form of late has been decent. Nevertheless, he has still been in and out of the team and Pochettino opted to bring left-back Ben Chilwell on for Raheem Sterling in the recent west London derby instead of him.
Ultimately, it is still not quite clear where exactly Mudryk fits in his manager’s plans.

Significant period coming up in Mykhailo Mudryk’s Chelsea career
It really is going to be interesting to see what Pochettino does with Mudryk in Chelsea’s next few fixtures.
With Chilwell fit again, that is another left wing option for the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur boss.
It may not be something that Chelsea fans want to see, but it is a tactic Pochettino has employed often this season, including against Fulham on Saturday, even while a natural attacker like Mudryk has been available.
If that happens in the next few weeks, you would have to question Pochettino’s plans for the Ukraine international.
