Chelsea’s parent company BlueCo could be about to purchase another football club as part of their multi-club strategy.
As well as Chelsea, BlueCo also own French outfit Strasbourg, resulting in plenty of trading between the two teams.
During the summer, for example, Chelsea sent Kendry Paez, Mike Penders and Mamadou Sarr to Strasbourg on loan, while selling Ben Chilwell to their sister club. Everton made a late offer for Chilwell, but France proved to be his destination.
After buying both Chelsea and Strasbourg, BlueCo could now turn their attention to acquiring a side from Brazil.

BlueCo interested in adding Santos to portfolio
According to Brazilian journalist Lucas Musetti, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are one party who may be interested in buying Santos.
While BlueCo are yet to add a Brazilian club to their multi-club model, they have bought plenty of players from Brazil.
Estevao Willian and Andrey Santos are the two standout names, with both men already Brazil internationals at their young age.
If BlueCo do go on to buy a Brazilian club such as Santos, it will give them first dibs on any emerging talent there.
That could really benefit Chelsea, who could have easily missed out on Estevao due to rival competition.
After a bright start to life at Stamford Bridge, former Blue Ramires has now urged Estevao to remain humble.

Chelsea had to see off competition from several top European clubs to sign Estevao Willian
In addition to Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were also interested in Estevao, as confirmed by the teenager’s agent.
Speaking to AS earlier this year, Andre Cury said: “With Estevao, I had interest from PSG, Bayern Munich, Chelsea… from several clubs.”
If Chelsea buy Santos or another Brazilian club and find the next Estevao there, they will not have to worry about competition from Europe’s other elite teams.
Over the summer, plenty of Premier League sides showed interest in Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha. But The Chelsea Chronicle understands that BlueCo said no to selling Emegha, believing that he could have a big future at Stamford Bridge.
You could see similar happening at Santos if BlueCo go on to buy them now or at a later date.
